The acquisition of the privately-owned company, which distributes its products primarily through wholesale and systems integrator channels, gives Allegion ownership of the FSH brand and product portfolio, which includes a number of innovative patent-protected electric strikes and latches.
The FSH product range complements Allegion’s existing portfolio of security solutions under the Legge, Schlage, Von Duprin and Briton brands, which will continue to be promoted and available through the current channels. FSH will continue to operate as an independent business from its existing location in Sydney, Australia, and will continue to go to market via its existing distributors.
This acquisition provides Allegion with valuable technologies and know-how to support future product development, and reinforces Allegion’s strategy to grow in strategic markets and technologies via selective mergers and acquisitions and innovation.
